In 2014, we undertook a major effort to relaunch multiple company blogs on a proprietary platform onto one single blog instance on a consolidated platform. I managed the project team, working on design concepts, site requirements, content architecture, data porting and redirecting the old blogs to one new site. We successfully imported over 500 blog posts to one site, developed and assigned author profiles, assigned content requirements such as new images to old posts, and brought the entire site the next level up with a beautifully-designed mobile responsive custom theme. I’m extremely proud of the work and effort that went into this multi-month, very involved project and the outcome we’ve seen since. This new site has enabled us more flexibility in terms of social sharing, social proof, and guest authoring, expanding our content marketing capabilities and providing new avenues and platforms for sharing our expertise.
