Welcome to the Content Marketing Minute, your quick guide to content, community management, social media and careers for content marketers. Formerly known as “Personal PR,” this blog has evolved with me as my career in the digital space has evolved. I launched this blog to focus on two simple ideas are at the heart of what we call content marketing today: building relationships and sharing ideas.

My content marketing journey started with me launching my first blogs (for myself and in my job) and has evolved as social media has gone from fringe to mainstream, as more and more marketing efforts have shifted from offline to online, and as my professional role in content marketing has become more defined.

Today I manage a team of content marketing professionals at ReachLocal, one of the world’s largest online marketing firms for local businesses. Together, my team is responsible for everything from managing our company blog, learning center, community, and social media presence to building lead nurturing and email marketing campaigns to monitoring and managing our reputation, along with being the content experts for all our traditional marketing and sales support efforts.

We’re constantly learning, testing, and evolving not just our messages but our strategy, approach, and execution.

So What?
Good question.

As content marketing continues to grow and evolve, I’m rebooting this space to share the tips, best practices, and ideas I’m using to manage content marketing on my team. To share insights and ideas on how to build your career in content marketing. To think, ask questions, and share conversations that matter as we define and build this corner of online marketing.

About Tiffany
So that’s the gist of Content Marketing Minute. Here’s a little bit (more) about me. I live in Dallas with my talented illustrator husband Robert Wilson IV, who gets to draw posters for rock bands and movies as well as awesome comics like Heartthrob, Knuckleheads and the Kickstarter-backed indie book “Like a Virus” along with our sweet, silly, adventurous kiddo and an cute Shiba Inu pup Kashi. I love general geekery, reading, crafting, cooking, and Dr. Who, and can often be found at a comic convention.
